Hi, I’m Lorena Renero. But you can call me Lola.

I am a professional photographer based in Montclair, California, a proud sports parent, and a creator of permanent legacies. My journey into photography didn’t start behind a lens


It started with a passion for style, structure, and visual storytelling. With a background in fashion merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), I poured my heart into fashion for years, owning and operating two successful clothing boutiques for over seven years.

When those doors closed, my creative drive didn't stop. In fact, it inspired me to find a new canvas. Photography became the ultimate way to stay on top of my fashion quest, allowing me to take that exact same editorial eye for composition, texture, and style and bring it behind the lens. When I frame a portrait in the studio, I am bringing a decade of boutique styling and fashion-forward design experience with me.

A Complete Soccer Mama on the Sidelines

While I love the polished world of fashion, my heart beats just as loudly for the beautiful game. I am a complete, true soccer mama through and through. From managing team logistics and uniform schedules to traveling for high-stakes tournaments, the soccer field is my second home. Because I live and breathe youth sports, I know firsthand how incredibly fast these competitive years fly by. That is why I specialize in fusing these two worlds together: Elite Youth Sports Action and High-End Editorial Portraits.


  • On the Field: I don't just take standard snapshots from the sidelines. I track the high-voltage action, the grit of a Tuesday night practice, the focus of a playoff run, and the raw emotion of the final whistle.

  • In the Studio: Utilizing sophisticated, edgy studio lighting setups and meticulous color grading, I give athletes and seniors a true magazine-ready experience. I want our kids to step in front of my camera and feel like they are stepping onto a professional, high-fashion set.

My signature project, The Lorena Renero Photo Book Collection was born out of a desire to turn these fleeting, hard-earned seasons into a story you can hold in your hands. I believe that an athlete's dedication, a senior's milestone year, or a family's real-life daily rhythm deserves to be preserved in a premium, large-format archive that sits proudly on your coffee table for decades.

When I’m not behind the camera, managing game schedules, or color-grading in Photoshop, you can usually find me exploring the local Southern California food scene, enjoying a great glass of whiskey, planning my next Disney excursion, or relaxing at home as a proud "Nana" with my grandson.
